So here are some photos I took that didn't make the final cut for the Medina County Visitor Guide.  Its always interesting to get a description of an assignment and then you take the photos, and then you get to see what was used out of all the photos you take.  I personally liked all of these other photos, so I had to share, otherwise they just get lost in my files and no one gets to see them.

So I had the opportunity to take photos of 5 locations for the Medina County Visitor Guide.  It's fun to see all the photos I took come to life.  So the places I was able to showcase was: Medina Train Museum, Jilbert Winery, The Galaxy, PJ Marleys, and the square of Medina.  I hope I can get some more fun assignments like this in the future.  I love the new challenges that things like this bring.

So I had the privilege of taking photos of Jen Picciano from Cleveland 19 news for the Parent Magazine.  I was so excited because the editor came to me and said we have to pull off a fake birthday party.  Well anyone who knows me, knows that I love throwing birthday parties and I love decorating for birthday parties.  So I was all in for this.  So the editor and I put together all our decorations we brought and this is the cover we came up with of Jen and her cutie pie girls.  These girls got so giggly for us by the end, that it started making me laugh.  Jen is also big into her food blogging and recipes, so we all showcased that in this issue.  I love taking food photos, and I loved the opportunity to showcase that in this issue.

So when the editor came to me and asked if I knew anyone who was pregnant and due with their baby in March that we could use for the cover, my friend Bri came to mind.  She is just absolutely gorgeous, and I knew her baby would be adorable.  So the day came, and these sessions always take longer then you think.  I took my time, and when the baby was sleeping and ready for the shots, we got everything we needed including a little smile from her.

This was such a fun photo shoot.  It showcased an apartment complex in Cleveland, that houses senior citizens, along with college students.  We featured two ladies who in real life our friends, and they just bring out the best in each other.  I loved hanging out with them, seeing the dynamics of their friendship.  This was truly an amazing story and I'm so happy I got to be part of documenting it.

Here is the March issue of Northeast Ohio Parent.  We did studio shots with a blue backdrop this time around with a teen theme.  Those teens and their cell phones, or should I say social phones.  I'm not sure kids use their phones to call anyone anymore, but they use them to socialize in almost all aspects of their lives.

These two boys didn't know each other, but they did great acting like great buddies at camp and having fun while doing it.  I've been lucking out with weather this year, and it was in the 50's for this session, so we all handled it and for January, I can't believe the grass had any green left in it.

OH BOY!   Capturing preschoolers for the cover was quite a challenge, but we got something.  The editor and I had this big idea that we were going to put a girl and a boy together on the cover.  We had to try 3 different boys, until we got one that was willing to sit close and react in the ways we were asking, but then it still wasn't the cover shot.  So this little gal got the cover all to herself.  I just realized that when you take children this age out of their routine, you just don't know what your going to get.

So making Christmas photos with my kids at Christmas is a tradition I've done since I can remember. So when the editor came to me and said what the cover's theme was going to be, I was super excited. These photos turned out great and this little guy got to eat his creation when he was done.

I had an opportunity to shoot the cover of Boomer Magazine for November / December issue.  These animals were beyond happy to be around people.  This cover story was about these animals being rescued animals.  I also haven't spent time with donkeys before, but apparently donkeys like people and they would just walk right up to you and rub on you like a dog would.  I want to go back and see these donkeys.  They were so fun.

This was one of the funnest parent magazine cover I've done.  This little gal was absolutely adorable in her home made lion halloween outfit.  We used my studio for this session, and utilized the front door and outdoors.  Little Brooklyn did awesome!  I just loved her spunky personality.
