So this family hired me to come and take photos of these two little ones turning 1.  So we started outside with some photos of this family of 4, and then I took some photos with grandparents and then photos throughout the entire party.  This is a great way to capture those photos, and not have to stress over needing to be mom, and photographer at your children's birthday parties.

So this little guy's mom contacted me and said that she wasn't sure about doing the cake smashing at his one year session because he doesn't like cake at all.  I suggested that we go through with it, and whatever he does with the cake, is us capturing a memory.  So the mom agreed.  So when the time came, with just cracked up because he wanted nothing to do with eating the cake, but the smashing part of it, he was in heaven about.  In fact, I don't think I've ever seen a baby smash up a cake as much as him.  His mom, said she was so glad I encouraged to go through with it.  What a fun memory for this family.

Celebrating turning one is such a fun session.  This family had me come out to the house for this little guys session.  We started with some family photos, and ended with a fun cake smashing.  My favorite photo was the three of them sticking their tongues out at each other.  It's fun to see the little things parents do with their babies and how they respond.

 I just love family orchard photos, and this family just topped it off with getting on the ground and just playing with the kids.  There some of my favorite family interaction photos.  We then ended this session with a cake smashing for the baby.  What a fun family!

How has this little girl turned one already?  It seems like just yesterday I took her newborn photos.  She was a blast to take photos of, and I love how this cake smashing session came together.  So adorable!
