We had a cloudy day, and a few times I thought for sure it was going to rain on us, and somehow we managed to avoid the rain through all the outside photos. Then at the reception it just down pored the rain, with cracks of thunder through the speeches. It made for an interesting time.
I also wanted to say, how much I loved Anne's way of decorating the space in the reception hall. She found a website that allows you to go and rent out things for your wedding, so she was able to get the amazing head table from there, and the barrel for her cake, along with other things. I love those kinds of details, and her wedding was just very thought out and beautiful.
I had the privilege of doing John and Anne's engagement pictures, and it was great to also shoot out their wedding. What a great and adventurous day we had!
