I can't get enough of the cake smashing sessions! I just love babies, and with a mix of cake, how can it get any funner? I also love helping mom's stylize these sessions. So far every one of these sessions have turned out so different.
I had the privilege of doing Aaron's newborn photos, and I can't believe this little guy is already one. Where does the time go? It's also fun seeing how much these babies grow and change in a year! I'm always amazed.
Notice how dark the clouds are in the cake smashing photos. There was a chance of rain, in the forecast, just like every other day in Ohio, so I don't think much of it, unless I see some rain on the radar when I'm leaving for a session. The radar made it look clear for our session, so I didn't think twice till I saw the dark clouds roll in and we heard thunder and saw lighting in the distance through most of the cake smashing part. It was getting quite dark by the time we were done, but we were lucky to not get rained on. I knew when we left there, we would probably be driving through some rain, but what we didn't know, was just a few miles away, there were reports later on of a tornado that touched down and did some damage. We were very fortunate that we didn't have any issues, but the rain was quite crazy that I drove through. It's been a crazy year with storms!
Happy Birthday Aaron. I hope to see you again when your two!
